Preferred Professional Services (PPS) is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem shifts in our Maine long-term care and rehab facilities. You will assess residents, implement care plans, and collaborate with the care team to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN license in good standing.
• Experience delivering patient-centered nursing care.
• Ability to manage multiple patients and priorities.

• Excellent communication with patients, families and team.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Oversee and guide LPNs and CNAs in delivering quality care.

What You'll Do:

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
• Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care
