Farmers Insurance District 40 is seeking an Agency Business Consultant to partner with agency owners on strategic planning, sales development, and operational coaching. You’ll translate data into actionable plans and help owners turn goals into measurable results.

Work with a district team to improve production, profitability, and efficiency across multiple agencies, guiding licensing, onboarding, and growth. This role emphasizes mentoring, collaboration, and tangible business impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in insurance, consulting, or agency operations.
• Active P&C and/or Life & Health licensing.
• Strong sales and performance management experience.
• Ability to analyze results and translate into strategies.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing others.
• Excellent communication with business owners.

Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with agency owners and serve as a trusted business resource.
• Coach agency owners on sales strategy, business planning, customer retention, and overall agency growth.
• Review agency performance and identify opportunities to improve production, profitability, and efficiency.
• Help agency owners establish goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
• Support new agency owners as they navigate licensing, onboarding, business launch, and early-stage growth.
• Consult on recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing agency staff.
• Help agencies improve sales processes, lead management, customer follow-up, and day-to-day operations.
• Encourage the adoption of technology, systems, and best practices that improve agency performance.
• Provide ongoing accountability, coaching, and problem-solving support.
• Collaborate with District 40 leadership, recruiting, and specialty teams to connect agency owners with the right resources.
