Job description

Agency Asset Manager II

The Asset Manager II is responsible for the daily oversight and management of an assigned portfolio of multifamily loans, with a primary focus on risk mitigation efforts. As the primary point of contact, this role is responsible for monitoring emerging risk and working closely with borrowers and investors to seek remediation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Subject matter expert on Asset Management tasks
  2. Analyze financial statements and property operating statements
  3. Conduct property inspections
  4. Review reserve draws
  5. Process consent requests, including related review of loan documents and other agreements
  6. Manage client relationships, providing excellent customer servicing while enforcing loan document/lender requirements.
  7. Perform ongoing risk analysis, ensuring timely risk detection and appropriate monitoring
  8. Prepare action plans and present recommendations to executive management
  9. Conduct market research and prepare market reports
  10. Prepare loan and portfolio level status reports
  11. Comply with all Investor monitoring and reporting requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  2. At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate
  3. At least 4 years of government-sponsored enterprise experience with Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or commercial mortgage-backed security experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of commercial real estate asset management experience
  2. 6+ years of experience analyzing property operating statements, rent rolls, and borrower financial statements
  3. 6+ years of asset management experience with managing Fannie Mae Multifamily loans

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Charlotte, NC: $144,000 - $164,400 for Agency Asset Manager II

McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Agency Asset Manager II

Plano, TX: $144,000 - $164,400 for Agency Asset Manager II

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
