Job summary

PGIM Real Estate seeks an Accountant for the Agency Accounting Team in Dallas. You will handle journal entries, MSR analytics, and balance sheet reconciliations while coordinating with Investor Reporting, Servicing, and IT.

A CPA/MBA is a plus, with 2+ years of accounting experience and strong GAAP knowledge. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with in-office days in Dallas and competitive benefits, including a 401(k) match and pension plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Strong accounting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to drive process improvement.
• Strong technical skills including advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours and support other internal groups as needed.
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare Agency mortgage loan journal entries and maintain cash logs across loan lifecycle.
• Account for MSR's, analytics (Revenue schedules, Goal Posts), and PASS reconciliations.
• Prepare agency cash logs, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and closing wires.
• Prepare mortgage loan accounting entries and maintain Master Files tracking rate lock to settlement.
• Review mortgage loan agreements to ensure correct interest rate and principal.
• Develop analytics to understand the business and support decisions.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and improve reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate across Investor Reporting, Operations, Servicing, Asset/Portfolio Management, Controllers, IT.
• Prepare various analytical reports and assist with ad-hoc projects.
