Newcastle Anglican is seeking Care Assistants to join our team at Mirrabooka Place in Gloucester NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality care to seniors in our residential aged care homes, helping residents with daily activities and wellbeing.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to gain experience in a supportive team environment, bringing respect, compassion, integrity and enhancing residents' wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Individual Support, Cert III Health Service Assistance, or BA Nursing (2nd year/3rd year).
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document residents' care and progress accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, person-centered care to residents in our facilities.
