Ziegler Ag Equipment is seeking an Ag Technician at our Willmar branch to diagnose and repair a full line of agricultural equipment from planting to harvest. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, timely documentation, and a strong sense of urgency in a safety-focused environment.

Starting pay is $27.00–$45.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) match, and an emphasis on training and career development.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel engine/equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to document work orders and communicate effectively.
• Own mechanic tool set.
• Safety sensitive role; able to pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair ag equipment from application, tillage, planting to harvest equipment.
• Document work orders in a complete and timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Work safely at all times, following company policies, procedures and standards.
• Work collaboratively and assist other technicians as needed regarding troubleshooting repairs.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance mechanical skills and grow product knowledge.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated ag mechanic with excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic skills and a sense of urgency at our Willmar branch. Hours: M-F, 8:00am -4:30pm. $5,000 sign on bonus included!

The pay range for this position is $27.00 to $45.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:

• 2+ years of relevantag diesel engine/equipment repair experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of repairing a variety of agricultural equipment; ag technology experience is a definite plus
• Ability to write and communicate effectively and interact with supervisors, customers and team members
• Basic computer skills to document work orders and utilize online diagnostic systems
• Own mechanic tool set
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• This role is deemed safety sensitive and requires the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test
