Job summary

Vatractor in Warrenton, VA is seeking experienced technicians and mechanics for all equipment types to diagnose, service, and maintain lawn, garden, and agricultural equipment. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, documentation, and ongoing training.

Requirements include 1 year of service repairs experience, ability to perform advanced repairs with official manuals, and a high school diploma. Valid driver's license and knowledge of Deere products are preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferably one year of experience performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, diesel, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs equipment repairs as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
• Participates in all job-related training and development.
• Responsible for completing proper documentation pertaining to the job: quotes, parts pick lists, warranty write ups, proper complaint, cause, repair information on each work order.
• Ability to use computer in diagnostics, documentation, and processing of individual jobs.
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.

• Large/Small Ag Equipment Techs
• Setup Techs

Purpose:

Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned lawn and garden and big and small agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment.
