General Purpose And Scope Of Position

The Nachurs District Sales Manager is responsible for carrying out all sales and marketing activities in a specified geographical territory so as to maintain, develop and grow the overall sales volume in that territory in a manner that maximizes profitability.

Specific Responsibilities And Key Deliverables Include

  • Plan and organize sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business goals.
  • Plan and develop a dealer/distributor network in specified territory according to agreed market development strategy.
  • Motivate dealers and distributors to promote a portfolio of products and services.
  • Educate growers, dealers & distributors on new products.
  • Conduct direct farm visits to growers in order to promote and sell a portfolio of products.
  • Conduct direct visits to dealers and distributors to assist in selling a portfolio of products.
  • Sell and service equipment related to the application of fertilizer products.
  • Install and help to install equipment as related to the application of fertilizer products.
  • Sell storage tanks as related to the storage of fertilizer products.
  • Deliver fertilizer, parts & equipment and storage tanks to dealers and farmers as required.
  • Conduct grower meetings to promote the use of products.
  • Attend farm shows to promote the use of products and services.
  • Locate and develop test plot locations as it relates to the research & development program.
  • Manage and collect accounts receivable as required to keep receivables current.
  • Perform any other duties as may be required from time to time.

Compensation And Benefits

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $89,400 - $125,280. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
