Job summary

AKRS Equipment is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic/technician to perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment. You will provide excellent customer service, participate in training, and stay current on John Deere and competitive products. A valid driver's license is required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and ongoing skill development within a team focused on quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities
