Ziegler Ag Equipment is hiring an Ag Technician to service the full line of agricultural equipment from planting to harvest at our St. Cloud branch.

You will diagnose and repair equipment, document work orders, and work safely while delivering high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a 2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or equivalent, or 2+ years of shop experience; strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are required, with a sense of urgency and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or equivalent.
• Or a high school diploma/GED with 2 years of related shop experience.
• 2+ years of ag diesel engine/equipment repair preferred.
• Clear communication with supervisors, customers and team members.
• Basic computer skills to document work orders and use online diagnostic systems.
• Own a mechanic tool set.
• Role is safety-sensitive and requires pre-employment drug testing.

Ziegler Ag Equipment has an Ag Technician position working on the full line of ag equipment from planting to the harvest. We are looking for a dedicated ag mechanic with excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic skills and a sense of urgency at our St. Cloud branch.

Hours: 4-10 hour days, 2:00pm to 12:30am.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair ag equipment from application, tillage, planting to harvest equipment Document work orders in a complete and timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction Work safely at all times, following company policies, procedures and standards Work collaboratively and assist other technicians as needed regarding troubleshooting repairs Participate in ongoing training to enhance mechanical skills and grow product knowledge

Qualifications:

2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or related field; or High school diploma/GED and 2 years of comparable shop mechanic experience 2+ years of relevant ag diesel engine/equipment repair experience is preferred Working knowledge of repairing a variety of agricultural equipment; ag technology experience is a definite plus Ability to write and communicate effectively and interact with supervisors, customers and team members Basic computer skills to document work orders and utilize online diagnostic systems Own mechanic tool set Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment This role is deemed safety sensitive and requires the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Push/pull up to 50 lbs Lift/carry up to 60 lbs Lift bulky objects Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering/grasping – able to use bolt box. Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
