Job summary

American Implement in Montezuma, KS is seeking a Service Technician for our agricultural equipment dealership. The ideal candidate will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on tractors and related machinery, with a focus on efficiency and quality service.

Experience as Set-Up Technician or Tractor Technician is preferred. Candidates should have 3–5 years in maintenance, good problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment.
• John Deere Tech graduate or equivalent with certification preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment.
• Perform diagnosis and plan effective and efficient repairs of machinery.
• Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Follow production schedules and requirements for completion of assignments.
• Participate in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Maintain vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition and working order.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations; maintain a neat work area.
