Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring an Inside Sales Representative in Denton, TX. You will provide excellent customer service, process orders, and support customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in product, warehouse, or sales environments.
• Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime when needed and maintain accuracy in transactions.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements to ensure a secure workplace.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external partners and build long-term relationships.
• Process orders, pricing, and deposits; assist with reconciliation.
• Assist customers with tools and procedures, demonstrate equipment use.
• Coordinate communications via phone, email, and in person about costs and delivery.
• Support branch growth through outbound calling strategies and merchandise transfers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
• Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external partners, fostering understanding and long-term relationships.
• Ensures all required paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.
• Partners with customers to identify the best tools and procedures for their specific tasks; demonstrates equipment use to build customer confidence.
• Manages order entry and processes transactions; assists the team with the reconciliation of deposits.
• Coordinates via phone, e-mail, and in person with customers and team members to provide helpful information on costs and delivery.
• Contributes to an outgoing call strategy to support the continued growth and success of the branch.
• Coordinates the transfer of merchandise between locations to meet customer needs.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a supportive manner with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Stocks shelves and maintains welcoming showroom displays to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Coordinate cylinder movement and pallet organization

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments (we also value an equivalent combination of education and unique life experience).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on an occasional basis
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
• Attention to detail in handling transactions.
• Availability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

• A background in gas, welding, or safety supplies is a wonderful asset.
• Familiarity with SAP, Google, or MS Office Applications.
• A detailed understanding of SAP and PROS functionalities.
• The ability to communicate clearly and warmly with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds.
