Job summary

First Community Credit Union in Fargo offers an administrative support role within the lending team focused on member agricultural and commercial loans. You will assist with documentation, data entry, and file accuracy while ensuring compliance and smooth loan processing.

We seek a detail-oriented team player who can communicate clearly, operate standard banking software, and adapt to a fast-paced environment as part of our community-focused credit union.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with loan origination or banking systems preferred.
• Able to operate a computer, telephone and other office equipment.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to lending staff for member agricultural and commercial loans.
• Collect, review, and compile loan documentation with accurate data entry per policies and regulations.
• Prepare loan and closing documents, verify accuracy, and ensure files meet compliance standards.
• Process and fund loans and maintain organized loan files; complete post-closing activities.
• Communicate with members, lending staff, and third parties to provide status updates and resolve issues.
• Uphold confidentiality and the organization's core values in daily workflow.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform administrative support to the lending staff for member agricultural and commercial loans
• Collect, review, and compile loan documentation while ensuring accurate and timely data entry in accordance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare loan and closing documentation, verify accuracy (including legal descriptions, signatures, and vesting), and ensure all files meet compliance standards.
• Process and fund loans, maintain organized loan files, and complete all post-closing activities efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate proactively with members, lending staff, and third parties to provide status updates, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth loan process from start to finish.
• Maintain accurate records, follow operational procedures, and contribute to an efficient workflow while upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and the organization's core values.
