Position Summary As an Administrative Assistant for our Ag Banking team you will support Ag Bankers or function managers along with various departments by performing a variety of administrative and coordination tasks Responsibilities include preparing complex documents coordinating activities and compiling data to produce standard and customized reports that support decision making You will apply a basic understanding of banking laws and regulations related to bank operations ensuring that all duties are performed in compliance with these regulations This role requires exercising independent judgment and discretion making non routine decisions within established guidelines and working with minimal supervision A thorough knowledge of bank products and procedures is essential Additionally you will regularly communicate with and provide direct service to customers ensuring a high standard of professionalism and customer support

What will you do
Accountabilities

File Maintenance Perform file maintenance in an efficient and accurate manner that aligns with department goals and objectives Coordinate with lenders to collect appropriate financial reports from customers or prospects using multiple methods of correspondence Scan and maintain credit file documents in electronic document management system Forward critical documents to Loan QA in a timely manner Pull UCC searches credit bureau reports flood determinations Onboard Advisor reports and organizational documents Update and review ticklers and document exceptions Establish Loan Documents Create loan documentation that is accurate and in compliance with laws and regulations Prepare loan worksheets in accordance to line sheet approval Review accuracy of loan documents pre closing and verify completion post close Complete supplemental documentation required for loan closing and include in loan packet Statement of Intent for Joint Credit Certification of Beneficial Ownership Sweep Agreements etc Organize loan packet in a professional manner Liaison Serve as the liaison between lenders and other Bank departments Processenter basic loan transactions into system by direction of customer or lender loan payments advances transfers Complete Business Solutions Interest Forms and waiverrefund request forms Coordinate with lenders to gather information to initiate real estate work order requests including appraisals and title work Research exceptions from Loan QA and assist the lender in resolving them Compliance Maintain a working knowledge of guidelines policies laws and regulations associated with work responsibilities Ensure compliance in processes and related communications Monitor and audit work regularly Identify address andor escape issues appropriately Collaborate with internal departments to insure Loan Policy and Loan Guidelines are adhered to Collect and record data for completion of CRA forms Gather and review documentation for new customers to complete CIP forms accurately Collect and verify documentation for completion of Beneficial Ownership Certificates

Qualifications

Secondary education in related field preferred Three or more years of banking andor finance loan experience or a combination of educationexperience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position
