Job summary

Elevo Learning is seeking an After School Program Facilitator to lead K-8 students in engaging activities after school in Ridgecrest, CA. The role uses Elevo's SEL-based curriculum to promote confidence and social skills while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

You will work Monday through Friday afternoons, with 3–4 hour shifts and a start date of 09/01/2026 through 05/27/2027, earning $22 per hour.

• Ability to manage group dynamics and model positive behavior.
• Strong communication with students, families, and staff.

The Role

As An Elevo Coach, You Will

• Lead K-8 students through structed, engaging activities and sports using Elevo's curriculum
• Manage group dynamics and support positive student behavior
• Partner with school staff and fellow coaches to create a welcoming program environment
• Show up consistently as a role model who helps students build confidence and social skills

About You

• Experience coaching, playing sports, working in education, or leading youth in any setting (e.g., camp counseling, youth programs, childcare)
• Lead by example as a confident, positive role model students want to follow
• Bring energy and presence that holds a group of up to 20 students' attention
• Stay calm and empathetic when managing behavior or redirecting a tough moment
• Build trust quickly with students, families, and school staff
• Run activities on time and adapt on the fly when plans shift
• Collaborate with fellow coaches and school partners
• Motivated by Elevo's mission to support student well-being

Additional Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S.; pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening
• 18+ with high school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to engage in the following activities with or without a reasonable accommodation:
