Job summary

Family Service Association in Fall River, MA is seeking a reliable 7D Van Driver for the Kids Academy & Afterschool Day programs. Part-time hours ~1:30pm–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a $500 sign-on bonus.

The role involves transporting children, ensuring safety, and completing daily inspections and reports. Requirements include a valid class D license for 3 years, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Professional driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport children according to safety rules and road regulations.
• Ensure all safety equipment is secured and properly stocked.
• Follow maintenance protocols and report service needs.
• Keep bus interior and exterior clean and free of hazards.
• Assist with sickness or bodily accidents and clean accordingly.
• Ensure all children are safely seated and belted.
• Assist with orderly boarding and alighting.
• Transport on designated route within the EEC timeframe.
• Complete daily pre/post trip inspections.
• Submit weekly trip reports and maintain transportation logs.
