Job summary

The Waldorf School of Philadelphia is seeking creative, energetic Afterschool Instructors & Coaches to lead afterschool clubs for elementary and middle school students in two categories: Creative & Hands-On Enrichment and Athletics.

You will plan weekly sessions, support creativity and teamwork, maintain a safe environment, care for supplies, and coordinate with program leadership and parents.

Qualifications

• PA State Police Criminal Record Check is required.
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance is required.
• FBI Fingerprint Background Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead weekly sessions for elementary or middle school students.
• Support children's creative expression, problem-solving, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment; oversee attendance, group dynamics, and dismissal procedures.
• Set up and care for supplies, equipment, and activity spaces.
• Coordinate with program leadership and communicate professionally with parents and caregivers.

• Set up, maintain, and properly care for supplies, sports equipment, and activity spaces.

• Coordinate with program leadership and maintain positive, professional communication with parents and caregivers.
