Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is seeking an early learning professional to join our team at Melwood and Barack Obama Elementary Schools. As a Group Leader Assistant, you will support daily curriculum activities and help create a safe, engaging before- and after-school environment for kids.

This on-site role runs Monday through Friday with morning and afternoon shifts. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and 3–6 months of licensed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds in a classroom setting.
• 3-6 months childcare experience in a licensed setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily curriculum activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
• Prioritize child safety and follow procedures.
• Keep the classroom space clean and organized.
• Support and include all children; foster positive peer relationships.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, families, and school staff.
