Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of New York is seeking a Part-Time Group Leader in New York City area (New York, NY or Bronx, NY). The role provides academic support to participants, helps with homework, and guides activities such as Arts and Crafts, Dance, STEM and SEL. Schedule is 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, weekdays, in-person unless city mandates otherwise.

Applicants should have a HS Diploma (AA/BA a plus) and at least 1 year of childcare experience. Must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in childcare programming preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist participants with homework and provide academic support.
• Track attendance and complete progress forms.
• Create lesson plans for activities like arts, dance, STEM, SEL.
• Attend meetings and participate in events.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentation of program spaces.
