YMCA of Coastal Carolina in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks an After School Counselor to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children after school. This role is ideal for college students, aspiring teachers, coaches, or anyone passionate about making a positive community impact.

You will lead activities, supervise homework, support behavior development, and build strong relationships with children and families while maintaining records and participating in trainings and YMCA events.

Formación

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Meets educational and experience qualifications established by state law.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and assigned child safety trainings.
• Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse background.
