iCook After School in Modesto invites you to join our team as a temporary, part-time after-school instructor. You will lead hands-on cooking classes for K-4 students, using our built-in nutrition-focused lesson plans to spark curiosity about food and cultures.

Classes run in the afternoon (2-5pm) and Mondays through Fridays, with up to five classes per week. Pay is $60 per class when paired with a co-instructor and $80 per class when teaching independently, with groceries reimbursed as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with a large group of kids in school, camp, or similar.
• Passion for teaching, cooking, and nutrition.
• Strong classroom management and engagement skills.
• Energetic and reliable with transportation access.
• Able to work afternoons 2-5pm, up to 5 classes per week.

Responsabilités

• Lead after-school cooking classes for K-4.
• Teach nutrition basics using provided lesson plans.
• Introduce basic cooking skills and food safety.
• Purchase groceries for classes (reimbursed).
