You will lead fun chess classes for elementary students and use our curriculum to teach fundamentals and sportsmanship. The role requires working with children in an educational setting, maintaining a safe classroom, and traveling to local schools for sessions in the late afternoon.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar).
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, friendly, and fun sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Use a structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal, and in-class activities.
• Travel to various local school sites for each session.
