Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic instructors to join our after-school enrichment program in Ashburn, VA. If you love chess and working with elementary students, this side-hustle offers a flexible schedule and a fun classroom environment.

Lead 1–5 one-and-a-half hour classes per week at local schools, using our structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals, sportsmanship, and problem-solving. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between sites; relocation is not required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in educational, recreational, or mentoring settings.
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, friendly sessions.
• Strong grasp of chess fundamentals and ability to explain piece movement and basic strategies to kids.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Teach chess fundamentals using our structured curriculum.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
