Responsibilities

• Lead afterschool chess class with groups of up to 14 students for Kindergarten - 8th Grade.
• Actively engage and motivate students during chess lessons.
• Effectively manage the classroom and address students' behavior issues in a positive, professional manner.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Communicate effectively with afterschool management regarding student and program-related matters.
• Maintain and promote student organization of chess materials and supplies.
