Beehive: A Community Playspace in Philadelphia is seeking enthusiastic Afterschool Lead Teachers to support young learners after school hours, with a starting pay of $23 an hour. You will work with kids from pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade, lead arts-infused activities, and coordinate walking trips to nearby schools as a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• experience in education and working with kids ages pre-k to 3rd grade
• detail oriented, reliable, caring and have strong communication skills
• love of arts and teaching
• willingness and ability to walk to and from neighborhood schools (some 30+ minute walks might be required) with students
• the ability and willingness to work with young students and support them in their creative adventures and ongoing needs
• must be 18 or older
