Job summary

Harbor View Creative Learning Center in Clearwater is seeking a part-time floater to join our caring team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., supporting children aged one to five, with a focus on the toddler classroom.

The ideal candidate has experience in a licensed childcare setting and can maintain a calm, engaging environment. Benefits include professional development, potential advancement, PTO, and support to obtain a CDA if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• Experience with toddlers.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.
• 45 DCF Training Hours to complete courses and exams.

Responsibilities

• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, songs etc.) to keep children calm and happy.
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments.
• Update our Tadpoles app if needed with diapers or potty training.
• Collaborate with other educators.
• Shutting down the classroom at the end of the day, including cleaning duties.
