Job summary

The Learning Experience – Dallas Frankford is seeking an Afternoon Teacher to guide children through an exciting stage of independence and language development. You will lead a structured classroom, delivering LEAP Curriculum lessons and creating a warm, supportive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prefer candidates with an Associate or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, plus prior toddler experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
• Prior experience with toddlers or in an early learning environment preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of a structured, developmentally appropriate classroom.
• Deliver age-appropriate lessons using the LEAP Curriculum.
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children to explore and learn.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and adjust activities as needed.
• Communicate with families to build trust and a strong home–school partnership.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and center leadership to maintain high standards.
• Ensure the classroom remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety/licensing requirements.

• Observe and document developmental milestones, adjusting activities to meet each child’s needs.
• Communicate consistently with families to build trust, share progress, and support a strong home‑school partnership.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and center leadership to maintain high‑quality standards.
• Ensure the classroom remains clean, organized, and aligned with licensing and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education is a plus
