Job summary

NorthPointe Christian Schools is seeking a part-time Middle School Para for 18-24 hours per week for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports students and staff within a Christ-centered educational setting.

Responsibilities include supervising study halls, assisting with assignments, providing differentiated support to students, and helping implement individualized plans under teacher guidance.

Qualifications

Position Summary

Serve as a Middle School Para at NorthPointe Christian Middle School and actively engage in NorthPointe Christian’s mission of “Equipping students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.”

This is a part-time role (18-24 hours) for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year.

• Minister to students through prayer, encouragement, and wise counsel.


• Support the School’s Foundational Statements and mission through word and deed.


• Supervise students during study hall, maintaining a quiet and productive learning environment.


• Assist students with assignments when needed.


• Take attendance, and ensure students follow school expectations and classroom rules.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is a standard classroom setting. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate, but occasionally high depending upon student population and activities.
