Job summary

Intermountain Electronics is hiring a Shop Custodian for the Afternoon Shift at our Price, Utah facility. You will keep shop production and warehouse floors clean, handling garbage, cardboard, and general cleaning duties.

The job requires operating forklifts, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to lift heavy loads; schedule is Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:30 am, with full-time expectations and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and forklift safely.
• Must follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Empty shop floor garbage containers into company trailer.
• Gather boxes, cardboard, pallets, and other loose garbage from the shop floor.
• Operate various types, sizes, makes of forklifts.
• Operate a company truck and pull a trailer.
• Haul the garbage to the city dump.
• Help perform any necessary cleanup functions.
• Operate the floor sweeper.
• Perform general labor functions as needed.
• Assist maintenance mechanic as needed.
