Job summary

Filterbuy, Inc. in Ogden, UT is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to load/unload materials and move packages around our facility. You will operate a forklift with care to ensure efficiency and safety, maintaining the right placement of materials for maximum productivity.

You will report to the Inventory Supervisor in Ogden, UT. Schedule is Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Prior forklift experience and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain certification to operate forklifts.
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned areas.
• Load outgoing materials and products.
• Transport raw materials to production/ shipping areas.
• Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas as needed.
• Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move components or products.
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Clean up warehouse floor (pallets, cardboard, plastic, etc.)
