Job summary

SanMar's DC Warehouse is hiring a Shipping Clerk to operate powered lift equipment, scan with RF units, load, restock and prepare customer orders for shipment. You will work Monday–Friday, 12pm–8:30pm, in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years lift operator experience, the ability to read and interpret labels, and solid numerical skills. Teamwork and clear communication are essential, and OSHA rules must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of lift operator experience.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.
• Basic math skills for counting and quantity.
• Demonstrates ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered lift equipment to move product and materials, using an RF unit to scan movement and locations.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
• Restock, pick, and pack product for customer orders.
• Inspect equipment daily and ensure proper checkout and return.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Complete Lift Operator Certification per OSHA guidelines.
