If you're hands-on, detail-driven, and ready to grow in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Rochester, NY looking to add Certified Operators to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient, high-quality production from assigned machines in accordance with company standards and procedures. Keep reading for more details!What’s in it for you:

  • 2nd shift opportunity – Monday to Friday from 3pm-11:30pm
  • Competitive hourly rate at $17/hr.

What your day will look like:

  • Set up your press workstation correctly and sign the Daily Training Log after review.
  • Check parts before placing any in the finished goods box.
  • Package parts carefully to avoid damage or contamination.
  • Count, record, and report any scrap.
  • Keep bins at the press clean and organized during your shift.
  • Keep the machine running at a steady pace to ensure good quality and production.
  • Report any quality problems to the Lead Operator or Quality team right away.
  • Let the Lead Operator know if there are too many bad parts, low production, or part issues.
  • Keep your area clean during your shift and at shift change.

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Production Operator experience; Plastic Injection Molding
  • Basic proficiency in math, reading, and communication
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and lift up to 30 lbs
