Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Maryland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II for the Afternoon Shift (3:00pm–11:30pm). You will service and repair manufacturing and packing equipment, maintain safety standards, and keep preventive maintenance records to ensure uptime for customers.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical and electrical panel work, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, parts inventory, and proper equipment start-up at shift changes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a multi-craft technician.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read simple electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and equipment in good, safe working order.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment and panels.
• Carry out preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Document preventive maintenance, repairs and part usage.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Ensure equipment starts properly at shift start.
• Inspect and repair machines, electronics and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on conveyors.
