Job summary

4M Industries is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our precision shop focused on aerospace/defense components. You will write, set up, and optimize programs for turning and milling centers, design fixtures, and ensure GD&T conformance from drawing to part.

Proficiency with PartMaker turning or Mastercam milling, plus strong communication, will help you improve cycle and setup times while delivering high-precision parts in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and setting up CNC turning centers and milling centers from start to finish.
• Ability to interpret GD&T on complex part drawings and tolerances.
• Design and make fixtures for machining operations.
• Familiarity with G & M codes and program optimization for efficiency.
• CAD/CAM experience with PartMaker turning or Mastercam milling.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork; able to work afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Write, set up and optimize CNC programs for turning and milling operations.
• Develop and refine work holding fixtures for machining processes.
• Interpret part drawings and GD&T to ensure conformance.
• Create setup instructions and in-process measurement procedures.
• Collaborate with other programmers to reduce cycle and setup times.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation and CAD/CAM records.
