Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a caring respite care provider to support a child in the afternoons and early evenings on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The role emphasizes safety, structured play, and assisting with daily needs while fostering a positive environment.

The caregiver should be calm, patient, and able to balance safety with fun, helping the child thrive in a supportive space at home.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Experience supporting children with special needs (preferred).
• Ability to provide compassionate, attentive care.
• Comfort with speaking Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide consistent safety supervision at home and in the community (e.g., park, outdoor walks).
• Assist with toileting needs (child communicates when finished; provider helps with cleanup).
• Engage the child in favorite activities such as walks, water play, and toy ranger/hauler time.
