Job summary

Actify ABA is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Laurel, MD team. This role focuses on delivering 1:1 ABA therapy in-home or in-school settings under BCBA supervision, collecting progress data, and closely collaborating with families to support client success.

Core duties include implementing treatment plans, maintaining a safe, positive environment, and traveling locally as needed. A background check is required and reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home or in-school.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home or in-school
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $27/hour
• Weekly Hours: 27 hours/week
• Shifts: Afternoon: 2:30pm - 6:30pm and Weekends
• Location: Laurel, MD 20723
