Job summary

Covelo Group is seeking an After School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in Vista, CA after school. This part-time role focuses on hands-on behavioral support in a school setting, with the chance to work 1:1 or in small groups during afternoon sessions.

You will implement ABA strategies, monitor progress, follow IEP/504 goals, and collaborate with a school team. A current RBT certification and a high school diploma are required; some ABA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ABA or special education experience preferred in school, home or clinical settings.
• CPI certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 or small groups with students needing behavioral support during after-school hours.
• Follow individualized ABA plans and IEP/504 goals during homework, activities and transitions.
• Apply ABA strategies to support positive behavior and social skills.
• Track student data and communicate updates to school staff and supervisors.
• Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive after-school environment.
