Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks an experienced Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for a temporary contract on a psychiatric unit in Pittsfield, MA. The clinician will perform psychosocial assessments, crisis interventions, discharge planning, and support across pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in acute and emergency settings.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
• Active Massachusetts Social Work License in-hand at time of submission and uploaded with profile is required.
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of psychiatric social work experience is required.
• Demonstrated clinical experience across pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations is required.
• Prior Emergency Department (ED) clinical experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide therapeutic intervention for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
• Provide crisis management and ED consultation, coordinating with emergency department and acute psychiatric care teams.
• Develop safe, individualized discharge plans, liaising with outpatient providers, community resources, state agencies, and families.
• Maintain complete coverage and operational continuity on a small-volume psychiatric unit with strict attendance expectations.
