Job summary

Merryhill School is seeking an Afternoon Preschool Substitute Teacher to support a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom. You will work closely with lead teachers to facilitate daily routines and guide early learning in literacy, phonics, and social-emotional skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Prior experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team and follow lead teacher direction.
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Must meet all state licensing and background clearance requirements.
