Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Durham, NC for an afternoon shift (Tue–Sat, 2:00pm–10:30pm). You will move material, operate hand trucks and scanners, and help assemble and count products while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Requirements include being 18+, basic math, ability to read safety and work procedures, and 1 year of warehouse experience. A flexible schedule and team-oriented attitude are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
