Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Manufacturing Technician for the afternoon shift (3 PM–11:30 PM) to package, label, and visually inspect products on the line.

You will assist line operators with start-ups, shutdowns, and tooling changes while maintaining safety and quality. This role requires physically demanding work, the ability to stand for long periods, and a willingness to work 40+ hours per week including weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a culture of safety.
• Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling finished goods.
• Track quantity of units produced to ensure efficiency.
• Package pipe to be delivered to customers per SOP.
• Maintain a safe working environment with proper PPE.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns, and downstream setup.
• Learn pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and facility housekeeping.
