The Afternoon Lobby Attendant is a part or full time year round position. The primary focus of this position is to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and welcoming atmosphere of the Inn's lobby and public areas. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that all guests and visitors have a positive first impression of our hotel. Candidate should be able to perform all position duties in an efficient manner according to the standards established by the Inn at Bay Harbor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the hotel lobby, front desk area, public restrooms, hallways, elevators, and entrances during afternoon hours.
• Regularly inspect and clean furniture, windows, floors, glass doors, and other surfaces.
• Ensure restrooms are well-stocked and sanitized throughout the shift.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for service or assistance in public areas.
• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and manage recycling bins.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual activity to management.
• Assist with setting up or tidying event or meeting spaces when needed.
• Collaborate with front desk and housekeeping teams to maintain lobby standards.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, offering directions or basic assistance when necessary.
• Monitor supply levels for cleaning materials and communicate resupply needs.

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting is required, up to and including 50 lbs
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
• Must be available weekends, weeknights, and holidays
