One Vision Wellness Center in Clear Lake, IA, is seeking a dependable Afternoon Lifeguard for a part-time afternoon shift (12:00 PM-5:00 PM). You will help ensure a safe, welcoming environment and support a variety of wellness activities in a community-oriented setting.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and the ability to work independently while keeping mornings and evenings free. Training and certification are provided, with PTO eligibility for part-time employees.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong swimming abilities demonstrated by 300 yards freestyle/breaststroke, 2 minutes treading water, object retrieval from depth.
• Willingness to complete Lifeguard Certification, CPR, and First Aid training.
• Must pass background checks and screenings.

Aufgaben

• Monitor pool and spa areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform routine water testing and document results.
• Maintain cleanliness in pool, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Build positive relationships with members, guests, and visitors.
• Assist with swim lessons, parties, programs, and events as scheduled.
• Respond to emergencies and safety concerns.
• Support daily Wellness Center operations as needed.
