Yona Solutions in Harper Woods, Michigan is seeking an afternoon Laundry Aide to join our caring team. Experience is not required, but preferred, and we offer a hiring bonus for new Laundry Aides.

You will transport, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean, safe laundry area while following all company policies. The role emphasizes warm, friendly service to residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions for cleaning chemicals and solutions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well with residents and staff.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work PM hours.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport soiled and clean linen in carts.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Sort and load linen into washers and dryers.
• Fold and distribute clean linen.
• Maintain linen inventory records.
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute clothing.
• Maintain clean, safe laundry areas and equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified.
• Provide high-quality customer service with care and compassion.
