Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor for full-time or part-time roles in the Atlanta area. The position involves general cleaning and preservation of assigned indoor areas across client sites, with tasks flexible to client specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent or at least six months in janitorial work, on-the-job training provided, and strong attention to detail. Afternoon shifts and weekly pay are offered to successful applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, or six months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned per client’s needs.
