Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Forklift Operator, Formula at our Alabama distribution center. You will operate forklift and pallet jack to move freight, stock areas, and support efficient warehouse flow. Shift: Sunday 2:30 PM to Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 pounds and generally up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and places pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Counts incoming freight and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotates stock to front and removes outdated inventory as required.
• Operates safely and follows GMP and company policies.
• Performs general housekeeping and secures equipment at shift end.
