Job summary

Right at Home Lino Lakes is seeking caring individuals to join our team as part-time Personal Care Assistants. Earn $20–$23 per hour while helping seniors and adults with disabilities stay safe and independent at home.

Responsibilities include activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship. We provide PPE, training, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• 18+ years of age.
• Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and daily routines for the client.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry, and bathrooms.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed ROM exercises.
• Offer dementia care and engaging companionship activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home

• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom

• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments

• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:
