Job summary

L'Anse Creuse Public Schools in Michigan is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for cleaning and preserving designated spaces, equipment and materials in line with seasonal requirements.

You will perform preventive and minor corrective maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, custodial equipment, incinerators, and building hardware; replace lamps and fixtures; and help maintain building and grounds security.

Qualifications

• Clean and preserve designated spaces, equipment, and materials per seasonal requirements.
• Perform preventive and minor corrective maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, custodial equipment, incinerators, compactors, building structure, and hardware.
• Replace electric lamps, fluorescent ballasts, wall outlets, switches, sockets and fixtures.
• Replace glass and plexiglass.
• Maintain building and grounds security.
• Perform selective mowing, and snow removal as required.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn MI-OSHA safety standards and applicable health standards.

• 3. Replace electric lamps, fluorescent ballasts, wall convenience outlets, switches, sockets and fixtures, etc.
• 4. Replaces glass and plexiglass.
• 5. Maintains building and grounds security.
• 6. Perform selective mowing, and snow removal as required
• 7. Knowledge of or willingness to learn employee's requirements to comply with safety and health standards, rules, regulations, and orders issued under the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MI-OSHA) and applicable to his conduct.
