Job summary

Oxbow Academy in Mt. Pleasant, UT is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our care-focused team. You will handle all aspects of meal preparation, service, and cleanup, following approved menus and schedules to support healthy, nourishing meals for students in our program.

We value a practical, health-conscious approach and require a High School diploma, Food Handler's Permit, and CPR/First Aid certification. A background check and driving license requirements apply; full-time hours are Monday to

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler's Permit.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass criminal investigation background check.
• Able to pass motor vehicle record check (if applicable).
• Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment).
• First Aid & CPR certified (we may provide).
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

Full Time | Monday - Friday | $16/hr

Oxbow Academy provides very specialized treatment. We are often the last hope to families in crisis who don't know where to turn. Make a real difference to families in need through joining the Oxbow team as our Cook.

Our Cook will work as part of our larger team in providing integrated care services to our students, which includes eating regular, nutritious, and delightful meals. Healthy relationships, novel and challenging experiences, and a relationship-driven approach are how we foster the healing process and create lasting change. This doesn't just happen in therapy, though--our Cook understands that learning to care for their bodies through intentional, healthful eating is a vital part of our students' wellness.
