Job summary

Allied Universal in Lihue, HI, is seeking an Airport Security Officer for the Afternoon Shift. You will monitor airport facilities, conduct patrols, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service to travelers and staff.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and authorized personnel while following site procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to reporting procedures.
• Document patrol activities and incidents and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
